To break down isolation
To assist Lone Parents into full or part-time employment
To empower Lone Parents achieve a better quality of life
To offer support, information and encouragement
To research what Lone Parents themselves feel is necessary to improve their present positions and support them in achieving their objectives
To help give men and women the opportunity to recalim their lives and participate fully as citizens
To build self-confidence and self-esteem
To work well as a team
To co-operate with like-minded groups, where possible
