at the Las Vegas Hilton. John Yi, Eugene Park
and I had a great time. We all thought it was well worth the trip. Staying at the Luxor
was fun too. If you go, be sure to visit Quark's Restaurant. The food is
expensive but tasty. I had the "Bird of Prey" which is a chicken sandwich with jerk
spices. Good stuff!

For those of you who are not familiar with the Ferengi, they are an annoying little
species with big ears whose goal in life is to acquire wealth. They are an interesting
contrast to
the rest of the 24th century world where people no longer seek material possessions as all
of their needs have been met.
