IMMIGRATION AND PASSENGER LIST SITES

Welcome to the VU University Practical Internet Genealogy CSTA study group page. The goal of our members
is to make it easier for researchers to learn about immigration/passenger lists on the web.

1. Guide to Immigration Records
The goal of this Guide is to help others in research of immigration records and ship's passenger lists, both on-line and off-line. The emphasis
is on helping those who may be new to this research, but it includes tips, links, and help that could be of interest to all.
2. Locating Passenger Lists
This is a comprehensive URL with many on-line links and off-line references enabling a genealogical search into ship passenger and
immigration lists. It covers the period from 1820 forward with a considerable amount of information and the best search methods for obtaining it,
while explaining that there is little information available prior to 1820.
3. Sites with Genealogical Material, Emmigrants

of convicts from the UK to Australia from 1788-1791.
