Lucy was born in 1978 and adopted by "The Knight's".
She was very lucky to have people who loved her like they did.
They traveled all over the country with her and one night,
while sleeping in a travel trailer, Lucy tugged at her "mom"
and woke her up. All of them stumbled out into the fresh air,
instead of dying from the carbon monoxide that was filling the air.
It turned out to be a leak in the space heater. Lucy died in 1994
and was much loved by everyone who met her. Her "mom and dad" have
their own gravestone ordered and between them is a memorial to Lucy,
engraved in stone: Beloved Pet of Dorothy & Glenn.
