We have managed to come across some very well bred broodmares and are more of a hobby breeder than anything else. I sure have not found a way to write this off my taxes yet! Our two broodmares pedigrees are found on our horse page. Our two babies from last year (which we are keeping both) are both paints. My wife's horse - A Compelling Man (Benito) is a Bay, frame overo. He will be a good mount for her to take her into the next century. He is calm, kind, and obedient. He also loves Cindy to death and is definitely her horse. He is bred Go Man Go, a top race sire, Impressive, a major halter horse sire, Skipa Star, a performance sire, The Ole Man, a racing and performance sire. This breeding will make him an all-around prospect in a good looking package no matter what she wants to do with him. My horse - Ima Zippy Jay Bar (JJ) is a minimal white sorrel overo. His only marking besides a large piebald face is a mark in the form of a J turned on his right side. His breeding is Zippo Pine Bar, the leading performance sire for three separate horse types, Docs J Jay (double bred), a cutting horse sire, Mardelle Dixon, a halter and performance sire. He will be an excellent performance horse. So far, I am not having much luck teaching him to stand in halter classes since he will not stand still! This horse has been the easiest horse I have ever trained. He will be standing at stud to the public in a few years. So stop by and say Hi at the shows!
