As long as I can remember I have had a passion for Europe, especially the UK. Now that I am saved, I feel that is where God wants me to serve. I am a junior at Missouri Western State College north of Kansas City, getting my BSW, social work. I want to ake that a foundation for mission work. I desperately want to work in Scotland or Ireland. But I have no church home behind me(crazy weekend schedules, I skip from church to church), and my parents are not able to help. I would like to check into summe missions until I finish school. Steve, It would do your web site a world of good if you could post photos of the buildings, the camp grounds and the people involved. a few activity photos and such. If you need someone to scan these photos, I would be more than happy to do this for you. t would be a simple process to post them up after they got scanned. If you want, just send the photos you want scanned by regular post. It would be great to see who and what the missions is all about. Also, if I ever come to Scotland, I would love to donate a stained glass window.

I visited Scotland last summer with my son but with no idea that I would find myself so much at home. After touring Scotland from top to bottom and sea to sea, I came to the ever growing conclusion that I am called to serve God there. I am waiting for His divine guidance patiently but I believe I will be used to serve either a long term or a number of short term missions in Scotland. I live in Birmingham, Alabama, USA where I attend Briarwood Presbyterian Church. I have been discussing my desire to serve w rld missions in Scotland with the missions board at the church and have been trying to locate missionary organizations that serve Scotland. Your ministry sounds very much like the community bible study ministries and home-based bible study ministries I am now involved in. I have a gift with children, computer skills, a telent with photography and writing and, by profession, I am a lawyer. Scot Mish (Steve) we met at GCN a while ago. I your work in the mission field is really blessed. This past week my church had a missions conference, and what a blessing it was to hear of all the work that is being done, and being able to see how far they ave come. The Lord works in wonderful ways. Since the conference last year, I have had a burden for those missionaries. Since this years conference, I know the Lord has called me to the mission field, but I do not yet know where. He may want me to stay in the States or go to a field where noone has yet gotten the word. I have only been saved for 2 years, so there is yet much time for me to grow and gain wisdom before the Lord may send me somewhere. I am a 20 year old /unmarried woman. The Lord may still br ng that special someone a long before I go. I would like to go out and tell the world about the Gospel and show them the King James Bible. But, it is all in God's timing and entirely His will in what He wants me to do and where He wants me to go.Being a y ung Christian women there are not a whole lot of things you can do, until a husband comes a long. Until then, I just continue to support missionaries as much as I can with my prayers and offerings, and let the Lord prepare me for His needs. Steve (Scot Mish), we've been sitting here looking at Jesus, and I want to thank you for putting my eyes on His Cross....I remember the chat room conversation last night and thinking "Man, I've been giving, giving, giving...I've got "debt" I owe...I can't afford to fill his need...I hope someone will see this as their opportunity to serve, and he might get help, but I'll look away till he's done talking; then I can get back to my chatting (and all I ever talk about is "we need to dwell at Calvary...Christ nd Him crucified. Ironic...Thanks..I Thank God.) I had reasons why I couldn't help right now..All good reasons !! But then you asked that we Pray "that your children understand...." I think: "yes, I'll pray that they understand that material things are no important..and that We live without because we trust God for our support" I think "Scot(Steve), Just trust God...He'll provide..." Then, today, We realize that What we need to pray that your children understand is the same thing I don't understand...I ne d to pray that your children understand that "the reason we are without is that there just ain't enough of God's Love flowing in the world son to reach us yet...we are here to show them Christ. It is where that love will come from..the only source..but th y must drop everything to see it...it may take time..we'll just keep showing them Christ and they will receive it, and then someday God can use them (Bless them), and we (our family) will not go without.God will provide for us..we will wait on Him, and wa t on His children also, for we want them to see Jesus and be blessed." So I realize that the problem is not your lack of faith, but my lack of Love... How can I PRAY that your children understand that the problem is MY LACK of Love...Thank You Scot..and Thank God for You.. I saw it at the Cross..Paul confirmed what Jesus taught me (II Cor. 9:12-15..CEV-is a Wonderful Translation) "What you are doing is much more than a service that supplies God's people with what they need. It is something that will make many others Thank God. The way in which you have proved yourselves by this service will bring honor and praise to God. You believed the message about C rist, and you obeyed it by sharing generously with God's people and with everyone else. Now they are praying for you and want to see you because God used you to Bless them so very much. Thank God for His gift that is too wonderful for words!!" (Paul coul n't really relay something "too wonderful for words" through WORDS, now could he?? Must Live it to "know the Love of Christ which surpasses KNOWLEDGE, that you (I) may be filled up with all that God is.") I realize that for me, you are like Paul who never asked for anything, but through God's love was supported, and his brethern were blessed by God....ah, just what the verse said!!! I once again thank God for You, along with our Brother Dustin Strouse (was www.truthchat.com ...now fruityflavoredspirit) who is sitting here with me as I type.. We will do what we can. God will provide (for us!!). We might have to frame an extra house or two (carpenters...I'd love to help with the handy work, but I can't swim very well!! LOL). We are praying for you, praising God for You, and Love you.
