| New Zealand has been playing American Football for about twenty years. It is know as Gridiron Football so it can be seperated from soccer (which they call football) and Aussie Rules Football. There are two national leagues but are seperate from each other. This is because they do not agree in the direction or how to strengthen American Football in their country.
