Destinations in 1997 included the Big Island of Hawaii in March, New York City and Maine during August, and Walt Disney World over Thanksgiving week.
In 1998, we finally made an international trip with the girls. We spent two weeks in September cruising the Mediterranean aboard the Costa Classica.
In 1999, we visited Georgia and Florida in February and March to attend Kyle's sister's wedding and visit Disney World. We also spent a long weekend at Yosemite National Park in March. In July we cruised in Alaska aboard the Celebrity Galaxy, with all the grandparents.
Travels in 2000 included a weekend during March exploring California's wonders in Yosemite National Park and two weekends in April and July in Monterey & Carmel, the latter trips with Grandma Alice and Grandma and Grandpa, respectively. In August we cruised for two weeks aboard the Costa Allegra with Grandma Alice, calling on ports in Italy, Egypt, Israel, Cypress, and Greece.
Our trips in 2001 included a week in Sarasota and Walt Disney World for an Adler family reunion in January, visits to Napa Valley in February and September, Los Angeles in late February, and Yosemite National Park in March. In August we celebrated Grandpa's 80th birthday and Grandma & Grandpa's 40th wedding anniversary in Los Angeles. We also cruised in Mexico aboard the Carnival Elation for a week in August. In December, 2001 and January, 2002 we had our greatest travel adventure yet since Chloe and Celeste were born, taking three weeks to travel through Australia and New Zealand.
