In addition to this informational page. we have now added pages for both lookups and queries.

The Harris Hunters mailing list is dedicated to the discussion and sharing of information relating to the Harris surname throughout the world.  To subscribe to the list, please send an email message to harris-hunters-l-request@rootsweb.com.  Please leave the subject line blank and put only the word subscribe in the body of the message.  This will subscribe you to the list in mail mode, where you will receive each individual messages at the time it is posted.  To subscribe to the list in digest mode, where you receive all messages posted in a 24 hour period at one time in one message, send an email message to harris-hunters-d-request@rootsweb.com.  Again, leave the subject line blank, and put only the word subscribe in the body of the message.

The first Harris-Hunters newsletter was published in January of 1995. The next issue will be Vol 3. No 12. for October. We have more than 300 active members as of this date. We publish the newsletter quarterly and queries are free.
We also maintain a data base for the Harris surname using PAF 3.1 published by the LDS in Utah. Upon joining your FGS will be entered into the data base.
Membership dues are $15.00 (USA) per year for four issues. Canada $16.50 Overseas $21.50. The last issue (July) had 14 pages and  70+ different Harris queries.
