Elizabeth Cox Hogan

Elizabeth A. Cox (1836 to 1924) was the daughter of Lewis B. Cox and Nancy Hennesy Cox. Elizabeth married Daniel Augustus Hogan (1833 to 1886) and had ten children. They settled in eastern Louisiana.

This charcoal portrait belonged to one of Elizabeth's granddaughters, Ola. It was scanned and cleaned up by Ola's son Ben. Ben estimated the the time of the portrait sitting to be around 1880. Many thanks to Ben for preserving this image of family history.
