The Fishy Water Tower

The “fishy water tower” was just another water tower, but with gold fish swimming around on it. Everyone in our family really liked it. It was visible from our den window until the trees grew too large. Or we could view it up close and personal, as Craig was doing here.

This award-winning photo was taken in March 1986 by Murphy. On a sad note, in 1997 the city painted over this water tower with a boring light blue color. It was the end of the "fishy water tower."
