Mary and Jan's Wedding
Circa 1905

Mary and Jan got married sometime around 1905 (plus or minus four years). They were Murphy's maternal grandparents.

Mary (standing, left) and Jan (standing, right) posed for their wedding photo. The couple seated with them were Mary's best friends (don't know their names).

 

Portraits of Mary (left) and Jan (right). Jan looks the same as he did in the above photo. Mary looks as though this photo may have been taken sometime later (not sure). The originals of these two photos were black and white photos that were printed on 3x5 inch ceramic or tile and then hand painted.
