I am researching a William Haley born1832 in Henry County Tennessee and a brother Benjamin born in 1837. Mother was Nancy ? and do not know the fathers given name. Both Benjamin and William migrated to Arkansas and Texas. Enlisted inthe 29th Texas Calvery in the Civil War. William died and Benjamin later settled in Pope Co. Ar. Would like to find names of parents. William married an Amanda Bushart in Henry Co. Tenn. Benjamin married Maltilda Caroline tinney in Ar. Any help appreciated.

My ancestor was Mary Haley who married George Boyd in Halifax Co. Virginia in 1818. I believe her father was Joseph Haley. She may have been a sister to john Haley who married Sarah Boyd in 1816. What do you know of this family? Apparently the couple split up for a while and Henry Easley took over the responsibility for Mary and her children for a while.

Seek information of Haley ansestors. Am direct desendant of Ludy(Luday, Leudery) Haley b. 1790, d 1855 M. Winnifred Arendall March 3, 1811. His father, James R. Haley, came to Franklin County Georgia, late 1700's brothers James, Joel, Josiah, and possibly Meeks known sisters Rebecca and Sally.

Came from Virgina either Amherst or Meckenberg Co. and have reason to believe father of James R. Haley is Thomas Haley( Hailey) who came originally from Delaware. Meeks Haley later may have resettled in Illinois mid 1800's. Ludy had many desendants in Franklin, and later when it split in Elbert, and Madison County including many with the same names as above. Located graves of original Ludy, James, Elizabeth and one other. Would appreciate any info as to Delaware and Virginia info on this family, as well as later after settling in Georgia. My Uncle , Frank Haley, also researching and we will be glad to share any info we have as well
