About me:
I'm city by birth, but country by choice.  I was introduced to horses when I was about 14 months old when some good friends of the family bought a horse ranch.  I don't have any memories of learning to ride, just knowing how.  I was about seven when they sold the ranch, so I got my horsey fix by attending horse camp and renting horses by the hour.  I lied about my age when I was 12 and got a job working on a ranch, and by 16 I was a supervisor.  About this time I met Joey who I bought shortly after, and we had been together for more than 15 years.  Over the years I've been owned by about a dozen horses, but right now I'm at a somewhat manageable trio: Pepper, Pug and Tango.  I ride western for pleasure, and most of my riding is on trail  with some team penning and gymkhanas.  I have helped on working cattle ranches and have dabbled in team roping, although I am not very good.  This last year I have also explored the world of showing and I hope to learn some reining and working cow horse in the near future.   I am also a huge rodeo fan, but have had conflicting plans this last year and so have missed some of my favorites.  My webpage is still under construction (aren't they all), so be sure to check beck to see new photos and new links.
