1. You must have faith. "Without faith it is impossible to please him." Heb. 11:6
2. You must be willing to repent of your sins. "Unless you repent you shall all likewise perish." Luke 13:3
3. You must confess the name of Jesus Christ. "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I also confess before my Father which is in heaven." Mark 10:32
4. You must be baptized into Jesus Christ in order to receive the remission of sins. "Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins." Acts 2:38
5. You must remain faithful unto death.  "Be thou faithful unto death and I will give thee a crown of life." Revelation 2:10
