SIngle Parenthood. I don't like being singled out (how ironic). It took a while but finally realized one day that when looking at friends and relatives I actually seemed (without judging) do have done a better job (for lack of a better word) that my marri d/2 parent family friends and relations. My children not only adore me but such an absolute respect for me that it's overwhelming. But I am with you when trying to figure out how to do something for myself, and if I found the time (not to mention the mone ) what would/could I do? SO much of my life has been wrapped up in these other 4 lives that going to work, being with adults, who are no where as demanding as my children, is easy and a kind of carefree place to be! We are doing the hardest job there is o earth, with little reward from the society that is quick to criticize us. My kids ages 14, 16, 19 and 20 have never been in "trouble," typically do very well in school and sports, have friends of every kind, are not judgmental of people and seem to be ve y much at peace within themselves. My oldest is in the Navy, the next a sophmore in college and the rest in high school. Somewhere without knowing it or sometimes feeling it I did good. I still wish that somewhere I had someone to really share a lot of st ff with, but it did't work out that way but regardless the struggle goes on. Good luck and good thoughts to you and yours. We are not alone no matter how alone we often feel, but I understand the void. Take care and bleesing through the often turbulent h lidays!

I read some of your poems and enjoyed them, but for constructive critisism your titles could be more relational to the poems meaning. Who am I though. I don't even write poetry yet, but I love it and that's what got me to your page. I am not someone wh is often on the net, but I am going to be in England this semester for schooling and I have a lot to do before I leave for Cheltenham. One of the things is finding this book, I think the title is "A Love Poem", a newly found poem by Carl Sandburg, to g ve to someone before my departure. So, anyway I enjoyed escaping for a moment from my reality here in the states and previewing your webpage/etc. and looking at the pictures. Does it ever cross your mind about others looking at your private life through the computer? It was not that scary to me until someone emailed me a pretty interesting/psycho-stalker email when my webpage was put on the internet. Needless to say, it is no longer available thru the internet... OK, well I have no tips or advice for you, besides, advice is free and easy to come by so I am sure you don't need any more with what this website must bring in. It was interesting to me however. I will be a little south of you, (right?) in a few weeks, so we'll become fellow countrymen! I am doing a cross-cultural study in Cheltenham.
