Dear Mary, I have read your story and I was moved by it. On March 15 1997 I gave birth to 2 girls twins(Cecile and Adelaide) here in Paris. They were born at 26 weeks and weigthed respectively 900g and 1kg (sorry I do not understand your weighting system). Unfortunately our little Adelaide died after 8 days but Cecile survived. She spent 4 months in the hospital and when she arrived home she had Oxygene but just for 2 months. She is now 3 years old and she is a very beautiful and quite stubborn little girl. I gave birth to twin boys on February 8th of this year. I had twin to twin transfusion, both in the same sac however one twin was receiving more from the placenta. I would be interested in talking with you about your experience.

I enjoyed your story very much, it touched my heart.I myself am a preemie baby,born 3 months early.Also with an identical twin sister.Like your sister she did not survive, for only 24 hours.There has been great improvement in medicine since my own birth(1 65) Yes,I agree with your mommie and daddy. I had twins at 27 weeks gestation, born on the 15/09/97. They are both doing fine now. My son Nicholas was 962grams and my daughter Ashleigh was 945grams. They are still meeting their corrected age milestones but are not quite yet meeting their real age milestones. I enjoyed reading your story and seeing all the pictures.
