Sally Buchanan Our second annual Easter pageant will be held on Saturday, April 3rd
, beginning at 10:00 a.m. This year we would like to involve the surrounding community by inviting them to follow a procession leading from Brookside to our church, where we will then stage our production of the Resurrection
of Jesus Christ. The pageant will be followed by an Easter Egg Hunt for the children in attendance (please see Katie's PARISH LIFE article for details). I am waiting to see if the University of Delaware's Cooperative Extension Service will be able to locate a donkey for us to use in our procession. I also need to
secure a permit to stage the procession on public roads. if everything works out, we will be able to much more vividly reenact the last days of Jesus' life. We still need actors (children, youth, and adults) and stage hands for
this production! I would like to schedule rehearsals on weekends during March, but I will try to work around other people's plans. Please see me at church or call me (836-1540) if you can participate.
