This art was inspired by the Huichol yarn paintings of Mexico and the pa'ndau style story cloths found in China. Pa'ndau is usually sewn onto cloth, but we glued yarn onto poster board to "paint" our pictures. In Mexico the yarn is secured with wax. We are now writing stories to go with our pictures.
