Mini Reef Tank Page

9 months old,6/98

14 months, 11/98

The 9 month old tank is the best picture I have captured from my camcorder. In the middle is a elegant coral with pulsating xenias left and right of it. More on the right side of the tank are red mushrooms, further down right is a false brain coral with multiple polyps, and far lower right corner is an anenome. On the left side of the tank are brown star polyps, below right of it is a flower anenome, and further right of it is a brain coral.
The 14 month old tank displays the ever multiplying Xenias and mising is the elegant coral which was removed on the 9/98, unknown for expiration, but my LFS does have a 73 degree tank with the same coral. Also notice my sabae anenome settling on top wedge in the rocks. Also my sand anenome rock has been hiding for the past two months behind the sabae anenome.

My regular maintenance include kalkwasser dose at about 3 gallons per week. Weekly dose of Reef complete and plus by SeaChem, Coral Vite by Kent Marine, and I stop using Coral Vital from Marc Weiss due to alot info on the newsgroup. 20 percent natural ocean water change per 2 weeks. Reef Builder and Marine Buffer by SeaChem, once a month, but on my biweekly alkalinity check, I may or decrease dosage.
