My box turtle page

I acquired my turtle in late June of 97. It is a Florida Box turtle. I am keeping my 5 1/2" turtle in my backyard which measures 28' x 16' (plenty area) with a small shallow pond and all day shade. He has been feeding on snails and other small creatures in the ground. I am currently feeding him other alternative food(crickets, fruits) cause I'm told the snail and small creature diet won't suffice from my backyard.

Here is the bottom shell. By looking at the bottom shell, U can indentify between a Eastern or this Florida box turtle.

I am looking for the oppurtunity to film him when he goes in my custom made shallow pond and other behavior, so check back at least once a month. Let me know what U think of my turtle and my web page.
