This page on Comsumer Danger should be of major importance to every person that shops in a warehouse type store. Especially Goliath (The Home Depot). There are no consumer agencies to protect the consumer from the terrible danger in the Home Depot Stores. We learned all of this the hard way. We were told by OSHA that they only can investigate employee death and injuries. The public is on their own. They further stated that stores like Home Depot were not in existence at the time OSHA was formed. That only employees would be subjected to areas with overhead storage and tow motors etc. We were also informed they have been trying to change this for years but that The Home Depot had so much money that they have a very strong lobby in Washington. Next time you are in a Home Depot store look up at the overhead storage and see for yourself what danger lurks there for you or your family. Your Kids. They count on you, did you ever put them at risk by going to a Home Depot? Of course like us you always thought that you wouldn't be in danger shopping. Wrong!!  Barbara called every agency she could think of after the accident, Goliath left her in terrible pain and no hope for help. She even contacted Senator Bob Graham´s Office. To our dismay we were told that the only protection consumers have is your right to sue. RIGHT TO SUE!! No protection RIGHT TO SUE. I have major problems with this. I have explained the great law suit process. It is an atrocity in a country where everyone hates personal injury lawsuits that  we as consumers have no protection except to get involved with this hated lawsuit process. Goliath can not be stopped. He is gobbling up huge profits at everyone's expense. His stock holders are making money. You have trouble trying to get professional help with doctors and lawyers, it seems everyone has Home Depot stock. But maybe we can make him be accountable for his actions. We have developed this site for this purpose. Write your congressman for help. Tell him you want to see laws  protecting consumers. Explain how your whole life can be changed forever by a trip to one of their stores. We are now compiling a complete list of members of congress to send this information to them. Home Depot is killing and injuring people. If Goliath is  held accountable for his actions and made to pay for injuries he causes, he may find it better to settle for a little less profit, and make his stores safe for you and your family.

Let all news groups that you are in contact  with know of this site. Home Depot gets away with all this because no one has the media power or money to let everyone know how they operate. This playing field has been leveled somewhat with the power of the Internet. Home Depot has been caught discriminating against women. We can prove they have been discriminating with their lumber practices. They have been selling below grade lumber in Florida for years, I wonder if the major destruction from Hurricane Andrew was caused in part by inferior materials.
