Ephesians 2:10

God loves us all - unconditionally

God loves us all; those who accept him and his son Jesus,and those who don't; those living in sin and those trying to live righteous lives; his heart is that he does not want to lose one of us.

That is why he sent his son to save us. The Gospel message is that we cannot save ourselves. (For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works so that no-one can boast. - Ephesians 2:8+9).

Although many have heard that Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins, they still somehow believe it is by leading a good life and doing good works that they can earn a place in heaven. They fail to see that the only way is through Jesus, and that it is a gift. They simply need to reach out and take it.

What we must all realise is:

  • That we are all sinners -
    "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."(Romans 3:23);
  • That our inquities separate us from God (Isaiah 59: 2)
  • That that wages of sin is death (Romans 6: 23)
  • That is why we need a saviour, and that saviour is Jesus (But he was pierced for our transgressions;he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. - Isaiah 53:5)
  • All we need to do is accept this, repent of our sinful life, and receive Jesus as our saviour and Lord. That means making him master of our life. The Bible says: Yet to all who recieved him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. (John 1: 12)
  • Paul calls it, "the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints" (Colossians 1: 26) Jesus said: I am the way and the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14: 6)
  • He also said: Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.(Matthew 11: 28)

Won't you accept Jesus's invitation?
Recieve him into your life and make him your saviour and Lord today.
