Biking

Ok, here is some info about one of my loves - Biking, or to clarify that riding my motorcycle. In June of 2001 I got a new motorcycle - a 1100cc Yamaha V-Star cruiser. It was red and white when I got it, but I had it painted to a British Racing green with a graphic on the tank. I have been riding about 19 years (2005). I  love riding and am a member of  the Faith Riders in Bradenton/Sarasota, FL.. This is a local chapter of  the Christian Motorcycle Association (CMA).  I have gone over the years to many of the biker rallies such as Daytona, Myrtle Beach and Cherokee.

I have take 3 major trips on my bike. In June of 2002, a friend and I rode over 5000 miles on our bikes from Atlanta to Flagstaff, AZ and back. In July of 2004, I took my first long solo ride. I rode from Anna Maria island, FL to Colorado Springs and back. My latest trip I call my Rolling Reunion. I left July 7, 2005 and rode up the east coast to Massachusetts then more inland to Franklin, TN, east to Charleston, SC and back to Anna Maria Island, FL. I was gone 7 weeks and nearly 6000 miles.
