Our Family's Mission Statement

First Baptist is the local expression of the Body of Christ with Jesus Christ as its head.  The three-fold purpose is accomplished through twelve objectives:

A.    Exalt the Savior (Col 1:18) through:

    1.    Worship of God

    2.    Prayer & personal commitment

    3.    Fellowship of the believers

    4.    Stewardship

    5.    Ministering to the needs of the people

B.    Evangelize the Sinner (Matt. 28:19) through:

    6.    Preaching the Good News

    7.    Personal witnessing

    8.    Missions involvement

C.    Equip the Saints (Eph. 4:12) through:

    9.    Bible teaching

    10.    Missions education

    11.    Training

    12.    Providing organization, facilities, and materials
