All about the Family
|
Our family consists of myself, my wife, our son Daniel and our daughter Lee. We had some family photos taken which show my wife and myself and also our children.
We have now been happily married for almost 33 years.
We live in one of the prettiest areas of England, the Cotswolds, not far
from Cirencester, the Capital of the Cotswolds. Ciren (as its called locally) was the Roman town of Corinium.
The Cotswolds has been designated as "An area of outstanding natural
beauty". They nestle next to Wales and just lower down from the Malvern Hills. From Birdlip,
a local beauty spot, you can see not only the Malverns but also alot of
the river Severn and into Wales and the Forest of Dean where my mother
was born. The area is famous for its Rugby team Gloucester,
the Cherry and Whites (maybe I am a little biased). We have lived here for the last
23 years after moving from our "ancestral home" in Reading, Berks.
I am proud to say that both my children have graduated from University getting commendable 2:1 Honours degrees, my daughter from Bournemouth and my son from Cardiff. My daughter can be seen here in her Mortar Board. She has now taken the plunge and is getting married in July this year. She has created her own website all about the wedding. |

I have had the hobby of Genealogy for many years now and have tried to share what I have over the Net. Since setting up this site I have been able to contact and to help distant members of my family and in return they have also helped me. It is a good feeling to help when people contact you but it is great when they can help you by providing photos you have never seen or data that you never knew existed. My intereoutside the family are Genealogy, Gloucester Rugby Football Club and our 29 year old MGB GT, Merryl. We call her Merryl as she is Streeps ahead of the rest. (A really awful pun but there you go).
