English & Other Languages

Since I'm a college English major, there's no way I could leave this page out!  I have always loved learning the building blocks of language, and I especially love making connections between other languages and English.  I took four years of Latin in high school and will be starting my second semester of college Greek soon, and I love every minute of it.  Hopefully when I graduate from college I will be able to find a position copyediting for a magazine or newspaper!  Because of my love for the English language, I get a little upset when people make very obvious mistakes with it (I only get really picky when dealing with formal writing).  :-)  So here are some helpful language and literature sites I enjoy checking out every so often...
