Tom and Cathy have been married for ten years, three years after a blind date! Between the two of them, they share 3 beautiful daughters, one very handsome son, and as of last November, Tom's first grand-daughter: Emma Rose Bretthauer

Tom is a 26 year veteran of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, and is eagerly waiting for his retirement at 30 years.
Cathy works for a two local General/Trauma Surgeon, and is very active and dedicated to the fight for a cure for Alzheimer's.
Cathy began showing Hrudey in the Conformation ring in March, 1999. A first for both of them! They have both done very well, and are extremely excited to bring home those ribbons!

The entire family loves the Labrador, and it's evident as soon as you come to their front door. With Tom's retirement only four years away, (who's counting?) the discussion has already begun to include a move to expand their Labrador family!
Tom and Cathy are both active members of the newly AKC recognized High Desert Labrador Retriever Club of California, Inc. Cathy is currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors, along with her "Hospitality" Committee, and Ways and Means Chair. a
