Why join the ARBA?

I am a strong supporter of the American Rabbit Breeder's Association.
The A.R.B.A has a lot to offer rabbit lovers of any kind, whether you have pet rabbits, show rabbits, or commercial animals.
I think that the A.R.B.A. is
one of the best Animal organizations in the entire world.
They focus on supporting their members,
and they encourage the members
to raise Quality animals.
One of the ways they do this, is by offering a very unique registration program.
When dogs and other animals are registered,
there is no inspection required.
If the parents are registered, than the offspring
are automaticlly eligable for registration
regardless of their quality.
We are a step above these organizations.
I register all of my rabbits,
as this does several things.
It helps support the A.R.B.A.
It insures that I keep and sell only quality rabbits,
and it shows the potential buyers
that I care enough to maintain good records.
Most all of my rabbits are at least
second, or third generation registered.
This also increases the value of the offspring,
as this shows that they are out of animals,
that at least meet the standard of the breed.
I know that I always try to buy animals
that are either registered, or out of registered parents.
This is in no way a guarentee on them,
but I have had great results this way.

One of the nicest aspects of belonging to
the A.R.B.A. is that it is like a support group!!!
They are always happy to help everyone.
I have often called with questions
and they always seem to find the answers I need.
They are happy to send business your way if they can.
The staff is WONDERFUL, FRIENDLY, and PATIENT.
They are a font of information.
A.R.B.A helps support the national breed clubs
by issuing a percentage of registrations
for that breed to the specialty club.
They have a wonderful Standards Committee,
to insure the quality of upcoming breeds
and new varieties in the current breeds.
The A.R.B.A offers us a wealth of printed materials
covering all topics related to raising Rabbits.
I hope that if you are not a current member
you will consider Joining soon!

Remember to support not only the A.R.B.A, but your national breed club as well. REGISTER THOSE RABBITS!!!
