Reunioin Survey Answers 1999
1. What are you doing now?
I am living in Lahti, Finland, and my husband and I own an import-export company specializing in tools and automotive accessories.
2. Are you married? When? Kids? How old?
Antti Eerolainen and I were married in Hong Kong in December 1996, but have been together since 1991.
3. Most exciting thing to happen to you since we graduated.
Many travels with Antti have been exciting. We visit Asia twice a year on business and try to combine it with vacation time.
4. Any graduate work?
No.
5. Who do you most want to contact from our class/expect to see at the reunion?
I will be especially glad to see Tanya Anderson Rosland, and of course my sister Jessica, both of whom I last saw at Jessica's wedding.
6. Funniest memory from HKIS?
The fry guy kidnappings. Poor critters! Rancid ho ho's and being a raisin with Jessica and Juliet Halloran. Being a "fried friend". Tanya "Azdersoz".
7. What was your "Ten Years From Now?"...Did it happen?
"Hallmark greeting card consultant" No, it didn't happen! I did work at an advertising agency in Pakistan, that's probably the closest I got to it!
8. Now that we've grown up, are you what you wanted to be? What do you want to be?
I wanted to have my own business, and I do. I am coaching gymnastics in my free time and hope someday to get qualifications; I am attending the first course next week.
9. Favorite HKIS teacher? Least favorite?
I always liked my language teachers, Sr. Wong-Russell (Spanish) and Ding Lao-shi.
My least favorite was a certain art teacher in jr. high who sent Tanya and I to the principal for making suggestions on how to make class more interesting! I'd *never* been sent to the principal before! Luckily he was very understanding!
10. How many cities have you lived in since graduation?
Four: London, Hong Kong, Lahore (Pakistan) and Lahti (Finland)
