We do not know the exact date of HENRY TURNER'S death. We only know that Lucinda was found living alone and named head of household on a 1870 Census, thus we thought he died in the 1860's.
He served in the Civil War under the commandment of General Howell Cobb, Company F. Regiment #5. Ended service in March 1865. He married MATTIE MARTHA WATSON b.October 22,1851 in GA. died December 4, 1918 in Ok. They had 18 children as follows:

3.JAMES MONROE (my g-grandfather)b. Novembeer 16,1872 in TX. died Decembeer 19, 1960. Buried in Blossum, TX. married Susa Carnelia SIMMONS on December 15,1899 in Laredo, TX. she was born on December 8,1884 in TX. died December 21,1962 in OK. is buried in the Arapaho Cem. north of Clinton, OKLA. Her father was Issac Johnson SIMMONS and mother Emma LONG. They were married in 1874 in Miliam Co. Tx. John was born in Mississippi around 1850. Together they had 10 children. Jim, Georgia Paralee, Harve, Susa, Eddy and Lula (who married James Monroe's brother Thomas Dozies Turner thus having brothers marrying sisters).
James Monore and Susa Turner had 12 children, three died at birth and not named, the other nine are:
