The Church has been seeking a new Solo Pastor to replace our retiring pastor in July 2000.
Please check out the following pages for more information:The deadline date for candidates' search and transmittal of Personal Data Forms or Curriculum Vitae was 1 November 1999. The Search Committee has now selected a short list of applicants, and the following steps are being undertaken:
Shortlisted applicants have been contacted personally by Search Committee members in November. They have been requested to provide a tape of one of their sermons, a Personal Data Form, and references. Material was due back on 30 November 1999. Our intention is that 2 or 3 candidates will be selected from the short list for an interview in January or February 2000 in Hong Kong. A candidate will be selected in February and a contract will be offered. Subsequently a work permit will be arranged (if necessary), so that the new pastor can commence his job in July 2000.Applicants who have unfortunately not been short listed wil very soon receive a response.Please contact the Search Committee for any queries:
