Hello! My name is Nicole (Nikki) Wood (i'm the one on the right). I live in Belize, Central America. Never heard of it? Belize is sandwiched between Mexico and Guatemala, and is the only English-speaking country in the region. Belize is considered a Latin as well as a Caribbean nation. We have the largest coral reef in the Western Hemisphere, lush green rainforests, cool Mayan Ruins, outstanding wildlife such as Jaguars, Tapirs, Macaws, Howler monkeys, Manatees, Toucans etc. Jaques Cousteau came here in the '70's to explore our famous Blue Hole, a collapsed cave deep under the sea. I'm 21 years old and work at Netkom Internet Solutions as a designer and content developer. My job is pretty cool because the work is fun (most of the time) and also because my boyfriend, Demain (above), is my boss! We've been together for almost 4 years now and I've been working for him for just over a year.

I was born in Belize, but grew up in England, so I enjoy dual nationality. My elder sister, Maria, is married and lives in England. This photo (taken on her wedding day) does not do her justice. I also have a younger brother (9yrs) called Adam who's a lovable pain in the neck. My mother is a gardening and crochet maniac. My favorite pastimes are reading, crafting with plastic canvas and searching for interesting stuff on the internet. I consider myself to be a semi-nerd, but that's fine with me.

I have 2 pet turtles (Ziggi & Pinto) and I take care of my brother's guinea pig (no name). My mam has two weird, bug-eyed little dogs, one of whom is very skittish as it was traumatized by its previous owner.
