A Letter To My Grandchild

I don't know if you know how much you are loved. In four short years you touched so many people.
When you were only a few days old, I came from Florida to see you. It was a cold January day, but your little personality warmed me up right away.
Remember all the good times we had, especially our secrets. Yes,we always got caught sitting on the benches in the theme parks having a Nana and Granddaughter moment. Mommy, Daddy and Kirsten would go off to those bumpy rides, you didn't like, while you and I would eat our way through the park. I never will forget how excited you were to
see Shamu. That is until he splashed you and got you soaked to the skin. That ended your friendship. You didn't have anything to do with that fish.
How about you fishing in the canal with your own line. You didn't catch anything, but you did get excited when someone else did. Of course the one time that stands out in my mind is when you traveled by plane with your sister, Kirsten and Cousin Cassie. You came and spent a few weeks during the summer with Pop-Pop and Nana We enjoyed every minute. That was the time that Kirsten and Cassie taught you to swim. You were so proud. How about the plays you put on after
dinner each night. Of course you had the smallest part, but that didn't bother you because you were with the big girls.
Jessica you will always have a special place in my heart. But, I am sure you know how much we love you.
Thanks for all your phone calls about the video's you watched, what Coty and Bubba were doing and your happy times in nursery school.
My little angel, you will never be alone. You have your Great Grandparents, Wilson, Milone and Floriani, your Grandfather Formica and yes your Aunt Linda to look after you, until we met again.
Love Always,
Nana.

Dear Jessica,

We miss you so much ......

We miss your hugs; we miss your kisses. You were mommy's little helper. I miss our evening trips to the Custard Stand for ice cream (with sprinkles of course!). I miss our trips to the beach were we would dig to china in the sand. I miss pulling you around in your little red wagon. I even miss watching hours of Disney videos. You could always recite the words before they were spoken. I miss giving you a bath, then blow drying your hair and watching you run to your daddy and saying "Smell me Daddy!" and he would always reply " You smell like a princess!!" I miss reading you stories at bedtime like "The Cat's Pajamas" and "Put Me in the Zoo". I miss going to the Nursery school with you. I loved to watch you play with other children. I miss our trips to the Disney Store where we could never leave without buying you something (Yeah, I guess you were a little spoiled!) I miss watching you play with your Barbies and your dollhouse. I miss all those beautiful drawings and artwork. I miss holding your little hand. I miss comforting you when you got a "boo – boo". I miss fixing your hair every morning. You always wanted to wear your hair like mine or your sisters! I miss your smell. I miss taking you to the playground. I could push you on the swing forever. I miss your smiles and even those "Monster Faces" you would make when you were mad! I miss splashing in your "Kiddy Pool" outside. I miss our family trips to Disney World. I miss our special walks together where we would count the trees and look for something red or green. I miss those hugs goodbye when I would leave for work. I miss hearing " MOMMY’S HOME" with excitement in your voice. I miss the thousands of things we could have done together as you were growing up. I had so many plans for us. I am so thankful for the time that God gave me with you!

We Love You – We Miss You,

Mom, Daddy and Kirsten

Dear Jessica,
We love you and we miss you in so many ways...
Your smile and your laugh when you’d came over to our house. Our  picnics on
the back deck, and how your cousins would argue over who would sit next to
you or pick you up or take you for a walk down the bike path.  I miss being sure
I had hotdogs in the freezer for when you came to dinner just in case you
preferred that to the dinner I was serving, and how you loved broccoli (not
many kids love broccoli!)   I remember how you loved to play with the little
Playschool sets in the back playroom, and how you would flash that pretty
smile when we wanted to take your picture.  How this past winter, when the
family was here for our Chinese dinner, everyone was busy after dinner and
you asked PopPop to go down in the basement with you to play  the pinball
machine - and you were good at it too!!  And how you loved to dress up like your
sister, and how you loved to wear dresses.  You always looked so pretty!

We have so many beautiful memories for the short time we were all together.
We are thankful for the time we had with you  We think of you every day
and we know you are watching over us now.
We love you dear granddaughter and we will always miss you.

PopPop and Grandmom Marge

Dear Jessica,

We love you and we miss you so much !!  Life without you is unbearable. You and Kirsten were our World and all we looked forward to. I never dreamed that being a Grandma could be so wonderful. Kirsten -So grownup and beautiful , and my "little pal" Jessica -
Watching you grow from week to week was what we lived for. I never knew life could be so great !!
We both loved all the "kiddie" things that we did with you, like going to the playground, playing with your toys and games and all the parties your Mom would have. I will never forget last summer, on your Mom's Birthday, when we went to Wildwood on the rides. We had so much fun !!  You would always talk to me about the "Scary Devil Ride" that you saw and all the fun that you had.
I miss all those early morning phone calls, when your Mom highlighted the speed   dial and you could call me whenever you wanted by pushing the blue button !!!!  Some mornings, you would call just to tell me what you did in school that day. What a personality you had !!  That's what made you sooo special.
I miss feeling your little hands on my face and hearing you say, " I love you Ga' Jeani !"
And Missy, you were a great Mom to Jessica. So many times she would talk to me about you being the best and prettiest Mom. Oh, did she know and talk about you all the time !!  She had so much love in her and it showed in everything she did and I am so glad that you "Spoiled" her and bought her all those toys! You really bought her everything !  She loved to dress up an she knew what matched. I am so glad to have been a part of her life and I hope someday God will let us meet in Heaven, where I know she is the most beautiful angel!!

                                                 Until that Day,
" Ga' Jeani and Grandpa Ralphie"
