Garden Journal Page

These lilies are in a border on the north side property line. They
also were my husband's first experiment at making a background w/border
on the left! I asked, he went to work!

A homegrown sunflower

This sunflower
is almost lifesize. They're
growing in a garden on the south side
of our house. There are about a dozen plants
that we've been nurturing which are
all volunteers from feeding birds
this past winter. Can you
see the two honey
bees?

Curtis, Easter day, one week after his birthday

our daffodils
on Easter morning
1998.

Jasmine blooming at night (and Andy!)

This jasmime I was soooo proud of.
I had bought a plant mail order for my mom. I
liked it so much that when we moved to Arizona
and found that it can grow outside there,
I bought two plants for near the entryway.
On still evenings the scent
lingers there and
is heavenly.
