July 30th. I've been wanting to start somewhere writing a bit about the family and figure I'll start with Monika. She'll be a sophomore in Centerville High School this year. Right now she's with the Jazz Band at Miami University (Oxford, OH) working hard at learning their new routines. They'll spend four days there working intensively and building comradery. This year is an especially big year because it ends with the band travelling to Orlando to perform in the Disney World and Citrus Bowl parades. Next week Monika's 'bestest' friend in the world arrives for a visit from Arizona. I hope they have a great visit. This is a picture of Monika and Jill from a year ago.
