Honeymoon
For our honeymoon, we spent three weeks in Europe. We flew to Paris, France on April 26th, 1999 and spent a few days there and then took the train down to Dijon and Avignon, two quaint small French towns.

Then it's off to Barcelona, Spain to start our 12 day Mediterranean cruise on May 5th!! Our time spent on the "Splendour of the Seas", a Royal Caribbean cruise ship, was nothing but fabulous. Great service, food and fun!!!

The ports of call included: Marseilles (France), Livorno (Italy), Naples (Italy), Katakolon (Greece), Piraeus (Greece), Messina (Sicily), Civitavecchia (Italy), Villefranche (France) and back to Barcelona (Spain). With the land tours, we visited places like Cassis, Nice & Eze in France; Rome, Florence, Capri, Sorrento, Pompeii in Italy; Olympia & Athens in Greece; Taormina in Sicily; and Monaco, Monte Carlo! And everywhere we went, we had sunshine!!

To end our honeymoon, when we came back home to Vancouver, we took a few days driving down the Washington and Oregon coast in Miata to enjoy the scenic beaches like Ocean Shores, Seaside, and Cannon Beach!

And now, as we settle into our married life, we reflect back on the goodness of our Heavenly Father, who after years of prayers, answered both our prayers and allowing us to meet, fall in love and to wed. Our God is so good to us not in just meeting our temporal needs, but also by sending his beloved son Jesus Christ to die for our sins that we may be reconciled with Him and through Jesus, we may have eternal life!
