Wedding Day NewsWhat da ya know......we did it!We tied the knot on April 24, 1999 at one p.m. Saturday afternoon!! We are now Mr. & Mrs. Daniel Wee!! Yippeeeeeeeee!! |

The wedding ceremony was held at our church, Evangelical Chinese Bible Church in Burnaby, beautiful British Columbia!!
The weather for the day couldn't be better....sunshine from dawn to dusk!! Anabelle woke up at 8:00 a.m. and got ready to head off to get her hair done by her hairdresser at 9 a.m. All the preparations of the day went along quite smoothly...from getting make-up done by a Mary Kay Rep, to the wedding decorations
and distribution of the flowers/corsages/boutineers! About 60 were handed out to the bridal party, family, helpers, VIP's.....
The day couldn't have gone as smoothly as it did without the help of so many people like our Bridal Manager and cousin, Sylvia Soon. But most of all, the blessing of our Heavenly Father who brought us together and orchestrated the day. |

Highlights of the day included: Having to say our own vows to
each other.....Anabelle crooned, "Cherish the Treasure" a song
by Steve Green to Daniel and Daniel recited a personal vow of
commitment to Anabelle. And to top it off, we both sang a duet called,
"Only God Could Love You More" to each other. And how could we forget the duet sung by Terence Rolston and Tami Drews while we were signing the registry. Their rendition of
Shawnia Twain's "From This Moment" was beautifully delivered with a live orchestra backing them. The string quartet and pianist provided the best music one could ask for....thanks to
Loli Lim for organizing all the wedding music! And how could we forget the time when our Officiating Minister dropped Anabelle's wedding ring as he was about to hand it to Daniel for him to put on Anabelle's ring finger. Pastor Paul was so flustered, he tells Daniel to repeat after him, "I, Anabelle...", instead of "I, Daniel..." Definitely, lots of laughter and "schmaltz" can be remembered by all who attended our wedding! |

Highlight of the reception?? Daniel entertaining Anabelle and the masses for 30 mins with his trusty guitar and voice but most of all his humour!And how can anyone forget the wonderful 15 minute slide show Rossano Lieuson,
Anabelle's brother, presented. Totally unforgetable. And thanks to Rossano and Danny Sayson, our
videographer, we have it preserved on video for us to cherish for
all time!! | |
