Geneology

Hello!!   I am Tim and I have picked Genealogy as my area of interest. This is because I am always doing some research on my family background. It is really amazing how much you can learn about yourself, just by researching. I can remember as a boy watching old western movies and just wondering what it would have been like to live back then. Or when studying history in school just where my family fit into the overall picture of history making. When I first started my research, I was a little hesitant about doing this. There was and still is that fear of finding some skeletons in the closet. Well once I started the researching I was really surprised. I found a few Presidents (not in direct line), some Kings, and much more in my family lines.

I was always told that I was of Irish/German/Indian descent. However, as my research progressed, I was able to calculate that My fathers line actually descended from Wales. My mothers had the Irish and Indian (this line goes back to Pocohantas). As for the German part I can find very little to confirm this.

If you are interested in researching your roots, feel free to contact me and I will do all I can to get you started and on your way to a very enjoyable and interesting journey.

Below are some very good places to start your research!
