Quilting

Hi, My name is Terri and Quilting is one of my topics. I am from the South so I have seen lots of quilting. I was never into it though. It seemed more of a hassle than anything.

I don't really know what got me interested in quilting, but a few years ago, I just got the urge to make a quilt. I bought the material and did a simple 9 patch quilt. I loved it! My husband helped me put the squares together on the floor one night and I sewed them all together.
My mother helped me quilt it. We used the fan pattern. My mother in law saw the quilt and she wants me to make her one! I haven't made another one since that first one, but I have bought the material for one, well the material for a few actually!

I really like quilts that are beautiful and colorful, but my absolute favorites are optical illusion quilts. I found these links while searching through geocities. I hope you like them:

12" Quilt block designs inspired by Vermont wildflowers. It has the Jan block posted. It is beautiful!

This is where you need to go to join the quilting webring!

This site has links for everything! Maybe I can even find some optical illusion quilts.

Thats all for now. If you have a site you wish to have featured here please let me know. You all know the Yahoo Geocities Terms of Service. I am also available for help with your web pages. Just let me know!

Bye ya'all,

Terri
