It's a time when even enemies
Lay down their arms of hate
To embrase the Spirit of Our Lord
And give Thanks for the life he creates.
We count our Blessings one by one
We forget our times of fear
We realize that God has come
And Christmas time is here
No more sorrow, no more pain
If only for a day
We treasure the gift of life itself
On this glorious Christmas day
We glory on the fresh fallen snow
And the sparkles on the trees
We marvel at the lights and bows
And hanging Christmas Wreaths.
We watch the scirring of the young
As they race to unwrapp their gifts
The joy upon their smiling faces
As they got whats on their list
We sit down to have our Christmas meal
To give Thnaks to the Lord above
That we were able to share this season
With all the ones we Love
So count your Blessings this Christmas Day
And try to hold on to that feeling
Of Love and Glory throughout our lives
And not only this Christmas season
