Brownie & Guide Holiday House, In Ross-Shire

The Activity Centre is a converted school situated in 2 acres of walled, grassed garden.

Located on the Black Isle, 10 miles north of Inverness, a peninsula well known for it's beauty. The house is situated a few hundred yards away from the shores of the dolphin filled Beauly Firth. There are outstanding views across the Beauly Firth and to the hills beyond. Dingwall and Inverness are close by with a variety of attractions on offer.

On the Black Isle itself, there are an assortment of activities and facilities, such as a wildlife park, pony trekking, Rosemarkie beach, museums, dolphin watching and nature walks. Also the surrounding towns and villages provide a wealth of activities.

The Centre is currently being upgraded and improved, and we aim to provide the following facilities:
Disabled Facilities, Shower Facilities,
Well equipped and modern kitchen
Two large and airy dormitories which sleep 24 and 8 respectively
A multi-purpose day room

We hope to attract a variety of organisations and groups to use the centre for camps, trainings, activity days, picnics/barbecues, or as a central base for the many outdoor activities in the area. The uses are as varied as your imagination allows.

Costs will always be at a minimum. Our aim is to provide modern, comfortable facilities at affordable prices to enable groups from all sections of the community to come and enjoy their chosen activities in a safe and relaxed environment.
