What I find intersting is that the peer pressure in schools these day, regardless of the country. if your in and your cool, you have no problems, but now you might. The nerds, outcasts, have found a way to be noticed, and the more media and crap goes to the public, the more power these outcasts, the quiet ones, the ones that are left out and left alone at lunch, the ones we see walking down the hall at school by themselves, and the ones who are left out.
Its scarey out there in the world of society and the pressured of what is and whats not, but its our society, we have created it, with our high needs, wants, tv, violence, dications, we are not free at all as long as our society claims our way into the future.
One more thing I would like to add. The way the governments have dictated on how we diaplen our children, they can tell us off, say no and we can only say there there, dear, I do not belive that beating a child is right. ANd I am in no way stating this as an option, but we, as parents have no basis to go on. I heard of a lady who slapped her son becasue he told her to f - off and he went into the closet andphoned the child help phone and said to them that her would not come out of the closet until they came for him, thinking this was all a joke and when he found out that he was being placed into a foster home, he came forward and said that she had never hit him before and what he had said to here.
so who has the power here?
I was going threw your site just know looking for backgrounds, and then
I seen this so I figured I would write and tell you how I feel cause
America knows this has been bad on all of us!!! I cant even probably
imagine what any of them kids are going threw my heart goes out to all
of them .I cant imagine what all that would be like!! I was watching the
memorial service and they were talking about a girl who was held at
gunpoint and they asked her if she beilved in god and she said yes now
that took alot of faith to do something like that, when I heard them say
that I got chills, and tears started to form in my eyes, and if her
parents are reading this there is no doubt that your daughter is safe in
heaven with god...She was the image of god that he says is in all of
us.No matter what her death may have been untimely, but it was not in
vain!!! I would also like to pray that the other kids are safe with god
too, and that there parents are dealing with this ok and that they will
be ok and get on with there lifes and realize that even though there
kids were taken away they will get to see them again.....someday.
Greetings: I was touched by your thoughts on the recent
school voilence. I just took my son out of school 3
weeks early, because they had a bomb threat, and he was
threatened by a couple students. They said they were
going to beat him up. This is truly pathetic, but a
sign of the times. I will home school him from now on.
The Lord has given me a Ministry and my husband has a
Ministry also. Our passion is to reach the youth of
this generation. It's time for Christians to stop being
bench warmers,and get off the pew and into this battle
of spiritual warfare. We are not wrestling against
flesh and blood, but against demons, and Satan himself.
But we have the victory in Christ. We must learn how to
fight him with the Armour of God. (Eph. 6:10-18)

Well, I guess all the current events that are taking place in our country today put a little drizzle in my day. I am a 22 year old parent that has a three year old son. It would be really hard to even think of losing him to an insane world like today. My heart goes out to all the victims of today's society. I, as a parent will surely take the time to mold my son into a good role model for the world and do my best to spend more time then the usual working family of today with him. I think we need to instill more religion and morals into our kids today. When, parents are being taken to court for spanking there children in public, hits a soft spot in my discipline intentions. I will spank my child for doing wrong and punish him approiately. I feel kids now have the room and the government's support to run wild now days. On other note, I also feel like we need to allow religion back into our public school systems and do away with the sex education to and extent. Well, again my heart goes out to all the victims, and I truly hope or country will once again be a safer place to live.
well we have a young sixth grader that gets violent and has threatened the school and says his mother can make bombs. The principle has done nothin to him and he is still goin to school. He might and He might do it but we are concerned for the children and our own kids in this school. Some parents have not sent their kids to school and the principle has been very upset but there's nothin he can do bout. Well there is but the only thing he did was put someone to be with this child through the whole day for the last two weeks we have left of school. The principle even found a letter saying he's mom knew how to make bombs and still did nothin to him. The parents go every day to the school in the mornings to watch and make sure nothin happens, what can we do as employes to help this parents be at ease and help the rest of the kids through this? We've had meetings with the school board and the superattendent and still they have done nothin to this child at all. We are worried that he might lose his temper again and then do something to hurt everyone in the school. What are we to do in these conditions to keep going for the two weeks that are left, two kids have with drawn from school and bout three kids don't want to come back to school till next year, is this wrong for the parents to keep them home where there safe? I'm a teachers assistant and worry myself What If he goes through with what he says. Everybody in the school is not the same like it use to be the kids would be jumping and very energitic when school is almost out and this year they're so quite and well behaved. I mean it's nice for them to behave but we are use to them jumping and hollering and just being kids and this are not our students. It got so bad that they called the T.E.A. to get involved and do something to the principle and supperindent. Please get back to me as soon as possible really would like you're opinion.
I think prevention starts with education, if you know
the conciquensions for your actions your less likely
to do the act. I think that parentsshould sit down
and talk with their childeren. I know that my mother
has been a great role modle.
Hey, I am a freshman at a Florida high school. It really is scary, b/c so
many people have to make comments about how they think it would be cool if it
would happen to their high school. In the past month in our city of Jax, a 12
year old girl was arrested b/c she said it would be cool if it happened at
her middle school. All the area high school's have had bomb threats at least
once, except for mine. But it keeps me wondering if ours would be the next
school to get a threat. Personally, I think all the media coverage has
affected the "sick" minded to get inspiration from this, so they can copy the
tragic events. Just the other day, my brother's middle school was evacuated
b/c of a bomb threat and they had to stand out in the heat for 3 hours. I
hope people have learned from some of the events, that it isn't something to
joke about.

Make breast feeding your newborns
Of the highest priority
Do not deny your babies
The way it was meant to be
Men, stop chasing rainbows
Watch out for the greed
Your time is more important
That's what your children need
Don't teach your boys agression
They get that instinctively
Show them instead that real men
Must have sensitivity
Raise one family at a time
Be the best model you can be
Always know where your children are
Till you're able to set them free
The answers should be really simple
For this enlightened society
But, the experts forget the basics
At least it seems that way to me
