HURRAY!  Another rare and fortunate find.  This stone was given to the Payette museum by the city of New Plymouth.  It was found near the fair grounds and the city called and wanted to know if the museum wanted it.  Naturally they said sure.  It has been sitting in the musuem for about a year now.  I had seen it several times, but did not recognize the name.  A few weeks ago, I decided to photograph it as a misc. burial record.  I have also been knee deep in my Washoe project research again and when I stopped to look at the stone, I immediately recognized the name as one of the pioneer children buried at the Washoe cemetery.  I was elated.  Another stone thought lost is still very much intact.  The stone is in excellent shape and now sits in a display case.  Due to photographing it through glass, there is some glare and distortion.  I hope for a better photo the next time this display is moved.  Photo taken 4-23-05
