Each year...

1. We sponsor an American History Essay Contest for Elementary School students. Local winners compete on the state level.
2. We present three seniors with the DAR Good Citizens Award.
3. We present an outstanding graduating Junior ROTC student with a Patriotism Award.
4. Community Service Award to an adult citizen.
5. We collect and index previously unpublished records of a genealogical nature and submit them to the DAR Library in Washington, DC, and the Florida State Society Daughters of the American Revolution (FSSDAR) Collection at the Orlando Public Library. We attempt to place in the local library, also.
6. We give Medal of Honor Award.
7. We sponsor The Parlor room at Heritage Park.
8. We donate gifts to the patients at the Bay Pines Veterans Hospital.
9. We sponsor the Clearwater Harbor Society for Children of the American Revolution.
10. We donate DAR Magazine subscriptions to the local library and high schools.
11. We provide scholarships to eligible children of chapter members, and contribute to the DAR National and State Scholarship Fund.
12. We actively participate in the local literary program.
13. We provide genealogy assistance where needed.
