The Beauty of Poetry
Please Send my Friend an Angel...poem for a friend
Please send my friend an angel Send her one of mine A loving and caring one The best that you can find Please send my friend an angel And trust her with its care Someone or something for her to love And to always be there Please send my friend an angel One to help her fill her days With hope, love and laughter And the warmth of sunshine rays Please send my friend an angel You know she gave me one of mine Please send her down an angel A true friend's hard to find... Written by Corky To Daniella...in memory of Micki,Gizzy,Baby, and the friendship it created...
True Friendship
'Tis hard to find in life
A friend, a bow, a wife,
Strong, supple to endure, In stock and sinew pure, In time of danger sure.
False friends are common. Yes, but where True nature links a friendly pair. The blessing is as rich as rare.
To bitter ends You trust true friends, Not wife nor mother, Not son nor brother.
No long experience alloys True friendships' sweet and supple joys; No evil men can steal the treasure, 'Tis death, death only, sets a measure.
From the Panchatantra
My soul is soaring On the wings of a bird Searching for the truth. A truth that holds the answers Of existence and the meaning Of why I am alive. There is an emptiness left inside me Waiting to be fulfilled With the answers my spirit brings to me. Until I know what will buy self-fulfillment, Until I know who I truly am, I remain a shell, waiting for My soul and the dove of peace. R. Steele
