well, i love your pages, but since I was trying to free up some space, I had deleted everything, so had to search for heartland, etc. Luckily, I found you. If you could send me some info re my computer operating skills, I would be ever so happy! I guess I will just have to read the books or take classes. I am so stupid, I just cannot stand it. Probably I emailed you before re this same subject. Anyway, I will e mail you some very good recipes that are sugarfree and delicious. Just happened upon your page and am very impressed. I would like to add a money saving tip: Keep a 2 cup freezer container in your freezer. Save any leftover vegetables with it's cooking juice and seasonings, even if it is only one tablespoon. When it is full, use these free veggies in your next casserole. You will be surprised with what you an create and the new flavors. We have not been impressed with cauliflower or asparagus in this mix. Leftover mashed potato and winter squash help to thicken a stew, as well as add flavor. To flavor cooked butternut squash, I use one tablespoon brown sugar, 1 tbsp butter or marg, 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice and mash.
