I am looking for information on the Daniel CAREY family. Daniel, his wife Margaret (RIFFLE) and children James, Mary and Anna lived in Claflin. Margaret died shortly after giving birth to Anna in 1886. Daniel temporarily put the children in a home in Leavenworth, until he could care for them.
Anna CAREY later married Louis A. MILLER of Claflin and Mary married ? DOLLINGER. Any information about these CAREY family members will help. Jan

Oct 1861, Crown Point, Ind.; died 13 Dec 1884, Barton Co., Kan). His
parents were Henry and Margaret Ann BOYLE. Robert was married to Laura
Silvia RATHBUN (born 2 June 1865, Scotland Co., Mo.; died 17 Apr 1889,
Barton Co., Kan.) All four are buried at the Olivet Cemetery near
Hoisington. Laura's parents were Job Oliver Cromwell RATHBUN and Rebecca
Jane TITUS, who are both buried in the Great Bend Cemetery.

I would like to confirm that my Grandfather, Milo Ernest WALKER, who I was named after, was born in Barton County. date is 7-28-1879. His father, I think, was J. T. WALKER, (John) who had land in Larkin Township in 1872 Any help as to where to obtain this information is appreciated. My great-grandfather was John Riley WALKER and was married to Louisa CARMONY who was born in Illinois. John Riley WALKER was born in Iowa. in 1853
