3/31/00

The big news is of course the birth of Dana Kathryn Matusewicz, Sara and Paul's new baby. She was born healthy and with a short and non-traumatic labor, at least by our standards. She was born 3/31/00 at 2:04pm, and weighed 8lb. 2oz., with a length of 20 inches. Photo collage They now have quite a handful, taking care of a two-year-old and a newborn. Fortunately, Paul's mother has been staying with them for the past few months, which has helped a great deal. Anna and Babcha Ella have been spending a lot of time together, and Anna is becoming bilingual in Polish! It's quite amazing to see, especially since Anna is able to differentiate which people can understand the language, and speaks to them in the appropriate language. Smart girl!

1997- 1998

They have been busy the past year...got married in October '97, had a baby (Anna) in February. Seriously though, they have been model parents, and Ivy and I could learn a lot from them. They have had wonderful support from mom, as well as Paul's parents, all of whom have spent time staying with them to take care of Anna. Sara is staying home to take care of the baby and working on finishing her degree. 11/98-Sara and Paul hosted a wonderful baby shower for Ivy and me. Mom spent a lot of time and effort making the event happen, and we are very grateful!
