On September 3, 1742 when John was 22, he marrried Miriam Pierce, in Perquimans MM, Perquimans County, North Carolina.

3.  John Guyer.  Born in 1759 in North Carolina.  John died in Orange County, Indiana before 1810, he was 51.

In 1783 when John was 24, he married Abigail Morris, in North Carolina.  Born about 1762 in North Carolina.

On April 5, 1769 Joseph G. married Miriam Bogue, in Perquimans MM, Perquimans County, North Carolina.

5.  Aaron Guyer.  Born on November 27, 1784 in North Carolina.  Aaron died in Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois in 1835, he was 50.  Buried in Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois.

In 1819 when Aaron was 34, he married Elizabeth Willard, daughter of David Willard (~1770-) & Sarah (~1774-), in North Carolina.  Born in 1796 in North Carolina.  Elizabeth died in 1841, she was 45.

They had the following children:

6.  Exum Guyer.  Born on April 4, 1790 in North Carolina.  Exum died on July 15, 1852, he was 62.  Exum was a farmer.

On August 19, 1819 when Exum was 29, he married Susannah Conrad, daughter of Abram Conrad (1778-~1840) & Rachel Johns(t)on (1780-), in Crawford County, Illinois.  Born on August 18, 1802 in Montgomery County, Kentucky.  Susannah died on October 29, 1879, she was 77.  Exum and Susanna appear on the 1850 Crawford County, Illinois Census along with five children.

Rachel married Charles Morris Gurley.

                        ii.  Alfred.  Born on February 6, 1825 in Illinois.  Alfred died in December 1867, he was 42.  Alfred was a farmer.

Alfred married Sarah Hill.  Born on October 2, 1830.  Sarah died on October 31, 1870, she was 40.  Alfred and Sarah appear in the 1850 Crawford County, Illinois Census.

                       vi.  Sarah Ann (Susan).  Born on June 15, 1835 in Kentucky.  Sarah Ann (Susan) died in 1921, she was 85.

On January 3, 1861 when Sarah Ann (Susan) was 25, she married James Arthur Coonrad, son of James Conrad (~1799->1860) & Charity Shook (~1803->1860), in Crawford County, Illinois.  Born on March 26, 1832 in Crawford County, Illinois.

                        vii.  Aaron.  Born in August 1838 in Illinois.  Aaron died in 1916, he was 77.

On November 1, 1860 when Aaron was 22, he married Josephine Evans, in Crawford County, Illinois.

7.  Esther Guyer.  Born on August 23, 1789.

On March 14, 1810 when Esther was 20, she married Eli Morris.  Born on November 19, 1786.

They had one child:

8.  Sarah Guyer.  Born on June 7, 1796.  Sarah died between 1815-1820.

On September 7, 1814 when Sarah was 18, she married Exum Spivey.  Born on October 5, 1787.

They had the following children:
                    i.  Aaron.  Born in 1815.

Aaron first married Catherine Evans.  Catherine died before 1850.

Aaron second married Lucinda.  Born on December 27, 1815.  Lucinda died on February 12, 1889, she was 73.

On June 20, 1890 when Aaron was 75, he third married Frances E. Ralston.  Born about 1837.

John married Abigail G. Leonard.  Born in November, 1823.

9.  Harvey Guyer.  Born between 1820 and 1824 in North Carolina.  Harvey died in 1911, he was 87.  Harvey was a farmer.

On June 9, 1850 when Harvey was 26, he married Frances Hill.  Born about 1823-1824 in North Carolina.  Harvey and Frances appeared in the 1850 Crawford County, Illinois Census.

They had the following children:
                    i.  Emily.  Born in 1850 in North Carolina.
                    ii.  Jane.  Born in 1856 in North Carolina.

10.  Mary (Polly) Guyer.  Born about 1822 in North Carolina.

Mary (Polly) married James Enock "Enos" Reynolds.  Born about 1818 in North Carolina.  Enos was a blacksmith.  Enos and Mary appeared in the 1850 Crawford County, Illinois Census with three children.

They had the following children:
                    i.  Elmira.  Born about 1844 in North Carolina.
                    ii.  Harper.  Born about 1846 in North Carolina.

11.  John Aaron Guyer.  Born on November 12, 1826 in Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois.  John Aaron died in Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois in 1912, he was 85.  John is buried in Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois.

On April 2, 1851 when John Aaron was 24, he married Jane A. Hill, daughter of John Hill & Sarah, in Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois.  Born in 1834 in Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois.  Jane A. died in 1903, she was 69.

They had the following children:

12.  Abraham Guyer.  Born on March 27, 1827 in Illinois.  Abraham died either in West York, Crawford County, Illinois on May 6, 1906 or November 8, 1906, he was 79.

On March 29, 1849 when Abraham was 22, he married Elizabeth Newlin, daughter of William Newlin, in Crawford County, Illinois.  Born about 1832 in Illinois.  Abraham and Elizabeth appear on the 1850 Crawford County, Illinois Census with one son.

They had the following children:

                        ii.  Orlando (Died as Child).  Born on January 25, 1852.  Orlando died on March 3, 1869, he was 17.

13.  Abigail Guyer.  Born on July 13, 1820 in Crawford County, Illinois.  Abigail died in 1893, she was 72.

In 1841 when Abigail was 20, she married Silas Bishop.  Born in 1818 in North Carolina.  Abigail and Silas were residing in Crawford County, Illinois in 1830.

They had six children, but I just have information on the fourth child:
                         iv.  William L.  Born on May 20, 1851.

Besides the common schools of Crawford County, Illinois, William enjoyed the privileges of a course in the Westfield College, after which he taught school for four years.  In 1875, he embarked in the mercantile trade at Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois and has been in active business since.  He came to Marshall, Clark County, Illinois, in October, 1880.  William was a member of the Masonic Order and K. of H.  (The article was written in 1893.)

On January 20, 1880 when William L. was 28, he married Emma E. Adams, in Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois.  Born on August 31, 1861 in Preble County, Ohio.

14.  Matilda Guyer.  Born on May 7, 1840 in Kentucky or Illinois.  Matilda died on July 1, 1923, she was 83.

On October 3, 1872 when Matilda was 32, she married Evan Spivey.  Born in 1841.  Evan died in 1897, he was 56.

They had the following children:
                        i.  Alfred (Died as Infant).  Born on July 12, 1873.  Alfred died on July 23, 1873.
                        ii.  Wilfred H.  Born on March 12, 1875.  Wilfred H. died on October 19, 1954, he was 79.

On June 13, 1900 when Wilfred H. was 25, he married Lillie Odell.  Born about 1879.

                        iii.  Myrtle E.  Born in December 1878.
                        iv.  Eva L.  Born on September 18, 1881.

Eva L. married Charles B. Lindley.  Born on December 19, 1869.  Charles B. died on April 22, 1955, he was 85.

15.  William Guyer.  Born on February 1, 1844 in Illinois.  William died on June 30, 1919, he was 75.  William was on the 1850 Crawford County, Illinois Census.  William was a Quaker.

On February 26, 1965 when William was 21, he married Louisia Arselina Woods, daughter of George Washington Woods (1824-1891) & Amanda Victoria Fleek (1827-1881), in Crawford County, Illinois.  Born on January 26, 1847 in Newark, Licking County, Ohio.  Louisia Arselina died in Crawford County, Illinois on June 23, 1915, she was 68.

They had the following children:
                        i.  Laticia (Died as Infant).  Born on June 10, 1866.  Laticia died on December 20, 1866.
                        ii.  Annie C.  Born on September 1, 1870.  Annie C. died on February 22, 1905, she was 34.

Annie C. married John C. Nicols.

                        iii.  Charles C.  Born on October 12, 1872.  Charles C. died in Crawford County, Illinois on May 17, 1944, he was 71.

On August 26, 1894 when Charles C. was 21, he married Martha J. Kenady.  Born in 1875.  Martha J. died in 1964, she was 89.

                        v.  Ira F. (Died as Child).  Born on September 3, 1877.  Ira F. died on November 8, 1894, he was 17.
                        vi.  Maggie P.  Born on November 4, 1880.  Maggie P. died on August 20, 1946, she was 65.  In October 1945 Maggie was residing in Sullivan, Sullivan County, Indiana.

On October 27, 1897 when Maggie P. was 16, she married Fred Ormiston.

Albert first married Mary Bell Hand.  Born about 1858 in Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois.

                    i.  Orestes H.  Born in 1877 or 1880 in Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois.  Orestes H. died in Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois on July 6, 1955, he was 78.

On July 24, 1899 when Orestes H. was 22, he married Clara E. Newlin.

On March 15, 1877 when Adolphus was 21, he married Mary W. York, daughter of Charles York (1824-1903) & Rebecca J. (1830-1907).  Born on December 15, 1856 in Robinson, Crawford County, Illinois.  Mary W. died on January 30, 1931, she was 74.

They had the following children:
                        i.  Marinda (Died as Infant).  Born on December 26, 1878 in Illinois.  Marinda died on December 27, 1878.
                        ii.  Celia M.  Born about 1880 in Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois.  Celia M. died on September 10, 1969, she was 89.
                        iii.  Rosa E.  Born about 1882 in Illinois.

About 1903 when Rosa E. was 21, she married Paul W. Cox, in Illinois.  Born about 1878 in Illinois.

                        iv.  Lucy Ann.  Born on October 24, 1884 in Illinois.  Lucy Ann died in Crawford County, Illinois on August 4, 1953, she was 68.
                        v.  Perley D.  Born on August 14, 1887 in Illinois.  Perley D. died in 1973, he was 85.
                        vi.  Clara B.  Born on September 23, 1889 in Illinois.  Clara B. died in Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois on April 21, 1914, she was 24.  She is buried in Draper Cemetery.

19.  Cyrus Guyer.  Born on November 1, 1864 in Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois.  Cyrus died in Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois on March 4, 1918, he was 53.  He is buried in Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois.

On December 22, 1887 when Cyrus was 23, he first married Amanda Alice Boyd, daughter of William Boyd & Fidelia, in Indiana.  Born about 1868 in Indiana.  Amanda Alice died in Crawford County, Indiana.

They had one child:
                        i.  Mabel Alice.  Born about 1888 in Crawford County, Indiana.

On September 14, 1893 when Cyrus was 28, he second married Martha Ann Rhoer, daughter of David Rhoer & Margaret Pearson.  Born on January 5, 1874 in Crawford County, Illinois.  Martha Ann died in Crawford County, Illinois.  She is buried in Crawford County, Illinois.

They had the following children:
                        i.  Lois May.  Born on August 1, 1894 in Crawford County, Illinois.

Lois May married Lyman Ormison, in Sullivan, Sullivan County, Indiana.  Born about 1890 in Crawford County, Illinois.

                        ii.  John Henry (Died as Child).  Born on January 13, 1896 in Crawford County, Illinois.  John Henry died in Crawford County, Illinois on January 6, 1899, he was 2.
                        iii.  Eunice Eveline.  Born on October 13, 1899 in Ridgefarm, Vermillion County, Illinois.

On October 13, 1930 when Eunice Eveline was 31, she married Restore Samuel Perry, son of Thomas Jay Perry & Purthena Harrison.  Born on May 7, 1894 in Lyon, Kansas.

                        iv.  Ruth Ellen.  Born on January 15, 1901 in Ridgefarm, Vermillion County, Illinois.

On September 10, 1919 when Ruth Ellen was 18, she married Alga Draper.  Born about 1897 in Ridgefarm, Vermillion County, Illinois.

                        v.  Elma Jane.  Born on August 9, 1905 in Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois.  Elma Jane died in Puyallup, Pierce County, Washington on June 24, 1990, she was 84.  Buried on June 29, 1990 in Woodbine Cemetery, Puyallup, Pierce County, Washington.

On September 22, 1925 when Elma Jane was 20, she married John Morris Dunivan, son of John Allen Dunivan & Hannah Etta Newell, in Newport, Vermillion County, Indiana.  Born on April 10, 1901 in Perrysville, Fountain County, Indiana.  John Morris died in Puyallup, Pierce County, Washington on November 13, 1979, he was 78.  He is buried in Woodbine Cemetery, Puyallup, Pierce County, Washington.

20.  Emily Guyer.  Born about 1866 in Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois.

In 1895 when Emily was 29, she married Harlan Wesner.  Born about 1862 in Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois.

They had the following children:

                        ii.  Stacy E.  Born about 1897 in Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois.

28.  George Orestis Guyer.  Born on October 22, 1874 in Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois.  George Orestis died in West York, Crawford County, Illinois on October 31, 1945, he was 71.  He is buried in Guyer Cemetery, Crawford County, Illinois.  George's funeral was held at the Friends Church in Crawford County, Illinois.

On November 2, 1896 when George Orestis was 22, he first married Emma Kinney, in West Union, Clark County, Illinois.  Born on November 2, 1878.  Emma died in West York, Crawford County, Illinois on February 7, 1931, she was 52.

They had the following children:
                        i.  Lela Imo "Imo".  Born on December 5, 1897.  Lela Imo "Imo" died in 1984, she was 86.  In October, 1945, Lela Imo "Imo" was residing in West Union, Clark County, Illinois.

On October 19, 1917 when Lela Imo "Imo" was 19, she married Milo Green.

                        ii.  Ray Franklin.  Born on October 22, 1900.  Ray Franklin died on May 4, 1979, he was 78.  In October 1945 Ray was residing in West Union, Clark County, Illinois.  Ray's last known residence was in Martinsville, Clark County, Illinois.

Ray first married Lela.

On October 28, 1920 when Ray Franklin was 20, he second married Dorothy Cooper.

                        iii.  Mabel Louisa.  Born on March 28, 1904 in Crawford County, Illinois.  Mabel Louisa died in Mattoon, Coles County, Illinois on September 28, 1990, she was 86.  She is buried in Hutsonville Cemetery, Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois.  In October 1945 Mabel Louisa was residing in West York, Crawford County, Illinois.

On October 10, 1924 when Mabel Louisa was 20, she married Ernshaw Nixon Fowler, in Crawford County, Illinois.  Born on December 21, 1898 in Clark County, Illinois.  Ernshaw Nixon died in Hutsonville, Crawford County, Illinois on October 11, 1946, he was 47.

                        iv.  Flora May "Mae".  Born on May 29, 1908.  Flora May "Mae" died in November 1996, she was 88.  In October 1945 Flora May "Mae" was residing in Westfield, Clark County, Illinois.

On October 17, 1925 when Flora May "Mae" was 17, she married Hartford Hill.

                        v.  Maud Anna "Maude".  Born on August 23, 1910.  Maud Anna "Maude" died on September 22, 1975, she was 65.  In October 1945 Maud Anna "Maude" was residing in Marshall, Clark County, Illinois.

Maud Anna "Maude" married Roy Crocker.

On December 24, 1938 when George Orestis was 64, he second married Lucinda Rowena Nidey.  Born on June 1, 1878 in Melrose Township, Clark County, Illinois.  Lucinda Rowena died in Tucson, Pima County, on May 7, 1965, she was 86.

29.  Mattie E. Guyer.  Born in Illinois.  Mattie E. died after October 1945.  In April 1914 Mattie E. was residing in West Union, Clark County, Illinois and in January, 1944 she was still residing in West Union, Clark County, Illinois.

Mattie E. married Levi Clarence Cannady.  Born in Crawford County, Illinois.  Levi Clarence died before January 1944.  Levi Clarence was a miller.

They had the following children:
                        i.  Anna Marie "Marie".  Born on October 21, 1898 in Clark County, Illinois.  Anna Marie "Marie" died on January 15, 1944, she was 45.  She is buried in Harris Cemetery.

On April 21, 1914 when Anna Marie "Marie" was 15, she first married Jesse Lee Monk, son of William Monk & Eliza Cox, in Vigo County, Indiana.  Born on October 16, 1890 in Sullivan County, Indiana.  Jesse Lee died in 1931, he was 40.  Jesse Lee was a farmer.

In 1936 when Anna Marie "Marie" was 37, she second married Oliver Perry Maxwell.

                        ii.  Pearl.  Resided in West Union, Clark County, Illinois in January, 1944.

Pearl married Mr. Medsker.

                        iii.  Joye.  Resides in West Union, Clark County, Illinois in January, 1944.

Joye married Mr. Misner.

                        iv.  Maggie.  Resided in West Union, Clark County, Illinois in January, 1944.

Maggie married Mr. White.

                        v.  Ruby.  Resided in West Union, Clark County, Illinois in January, 1944.
                        vi.  Ira.  Resided in West Union, Clark County, Illinois in January, 1944.
                        vii.  William.  Resided in West Union, Clark County, Illinois in January, 1944.
